This collaboration introduces The Good Governance Review, an exclusive, in-depth online self-assessment tool designed to help healthcare and social care providers address governance ‘blind spots’ and improve patient safety, regulatory alignment, and operational excellence.

The Good Governance Review: Elevating Governance and Patient Care

Available exclusively to insured clients of Altea, The Good Governance Review provides healthcare and social care providers with an independent and expert-driven, structured assessment highlighting components of best practice across thirteen key areas, including clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management. Following the evaluation, users receive a personalised confidential report with recommendations and access to a 1:1 follow-up consultation with ACS, offering guidance on improvement areas. The recommendations will direct users to applicable materials from within ACS’s comprehensive suite of policy templates and how-to guides, with users able to purchase the resources that are most directly beneficial to them based on the self-assessment report. The tool also allows users to track progress over time, encouraging regular reassessment.

Providing an efficient, highly cost-effective alternative to traditional consulting, this digital resource empowers those responsible for governance and patient safety to continually elevate their standards, reducing risk to their service users and protecting their organisations’ reputations.
